This mornings verse is a reminder of the hope we have.
We still don’t know what the world will look like when this is all over.
We still don’t have a plan on how to open everything up and get back to life as we knew it before.
We still don’t know who else may be hit with this deadly virus before it is defeated.
But we have hope.
And when we have the hope we are reminded that God says in Jeremiah 29 that He has everything planned out for us.
When we have hope we can get our strength from God and soar like the eagles in Isaiah 40.
When we have hope we can overcome any situation and come out the other side with a smile on our faces.
Micah 7:7 says
“But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Saviour; my God will hear me.”
God is listening for our prayers, ladies, and He hears us in our doubt and distress, and in our hope and worship.
Losing hope right now is one of the most dangerous things you can do. So have a think about all the things you hope to do when this is over, all the things you hope to become, all the places you hope to go and all the people you hope to hug.
God gives us our hope back. Jesus has overcome death and hell and the coronavirus. We just need to trust. And put our hope in Him.
