Eat Pray Love

This week I have been trying to eat a little healthier so I actually did some meal prep and made some soup! And both worked well! I was so chuffed! I got the inspiration for the soup from the lovely guy who cuts our boys hair. He shared his recipe for Leek and Potato soup and it was so good. I even brought some into school, although I ended up having to bring it into school in a Diet Coke bottle!! It certainly looked interesting! And then my SW buddy encouraged me to meal prep my salads, so I enjoyed a beautiful salad for lunch! Here's what we made:

Yummy yummy!!!

This week I've been working through the Love God Greatly study on the Beatitudes. I love the Beatitudes, especially after I studied it as part of the WSF course at Belfast Bible College. The WSF is a course - Women's Study Fellowship - which is especially to help women to really get into the Bible. You get to learn from fabulous tutors and even have homework essays to do! (Yep - I'm that sad!) From then I have loved the Beatitudes and am really looking forward to doing the rest of these study.

This week I've had lots of fun doing academic work - my youngest is starting to revise for his first set of high school exams, and my second youngest needed a little help with his homework, and I've a lot of maths to do. Revising for the first time can be quite daunting - especially when you are dyslexic and don't like writing notes. So today we started on geography! Then we had a very fun RE homework which needed some beautiful artwork... so I of course enjoyed making a comic strip...

And finally I have been continuing my maths degree, trying to finish my second TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment). I am loving this - I just really am such a weirdo that I enjoy solving maths problems!

So that was my week! Hope you having a good week!
Keep shining!
